Its the mid-month reveal at Let’s Get Sketchy. This is the layout sketch.

We were waiting to use the latest Papericious Indie Chic Collection and it seemed to fit perfectly with this theme. We were inspired by the Tic Tac Toe Challenge at Papericious (Chipboard, Pattern Paper and Lace),  the Explore & Arrows Theme at More Than Words and the DT call and  Mood Board Summer Chill at Mixed Media Warriors (The colours, the flowers, the sky and sea in the form of the textures in the paper).

We began by adding texture to our background with a stencil and dimension paste.We then spritzed some Papericious Baby Pink Spritz. We stencilled some arrows with distress inks.  We cut out some arrows from a sheet in the paper pack. We layered pieces of paper, and cut out small marbelised squares/rectangles from a sheet for layering. We coloured the lace as well with the Baby Pink Spritz. We fussy cut elements from the die cut sheet in the paper pack for our layering. We die cut a flourish element to match. We used the dream catcher chipboard which coordinated with the collection and coloured with shimmer paints. We die cut the word explore and adhered all the elements to complete the layout.
