Recipe Album Tutorial- Papericious

Today we’re on the Papericious Blog with two projects using the “Kiss The Cook” Collection. This collection by Papericious is fantastic for multiple projects. We’ve also used the Papericious Desk organiser and altered it for the Kitchen.

We’ve made a Recipe Folio as well and we have a detailed tutorial for it.

This was fun and easy to create. We played with minimal supplies- Lindy’s Sprays- Poinciana Red Flame, Incandescent Copper, Bayou Boogie GoldBratwurst Brown Magical Shaker and Embossing Powders-Bratwurst Brown and Poinsettia Red Green; Dream On Stamp Set by FInnabair, Messy Script and Bussble Background Stamps, a black uniball pen and a mini embellishment we earlier created using the Papericious Ethereal Pack. We have a tutorial for the mini-embellishment-

We were inspired by two challenges for this one:

7 Dots Studio April Challenge– We played with the colour palette and were inspired by the flowers, and walking down a path under the night sky.

Scraps n Pieces April Challenge-  A few of our favourite things- to walk under the enchanting, magical night sky and nature. We also used colours from the palette.

Love Yourself Layout for Papericious

Today we’re on the Papericious Blog with an inspiring Mixed Media Layout using the New Release Ethereal Collection and White Chippis. For more info, hop on to the Papericious Blog.

We’re submitting this layout to two challenges:

More Than Words April Challenge- Nature & Animal– We have used Birds and Butterflies and our photo has all the ‘Nature’ in it, apart from our elements like flowers.

Words & Paintery March Challenge– Inspired by the colour palette and the Quote.

My Happy Place

Did you view the Journal Page tutorial using Gel Press yesterday? Well today, we have used the remaining pieces with the same colours lifted in yesterday’s video and created a completely different page. This one is with elements, depth and dimension.

We were inspired by :

The Moodboard at Scrap n Pieces for the April Challenge– “My Favorite Things” for us is ‘My Happy Place’- being in nature, with flowers blooming, birds chirping and butterflies flying. We were also inspired by the colour palette and the various textures on the board.

Crafter’s Castle April Challenge– For us Dimension is in the form of all elements against each other, adding depth and giving the real feel.
