I have created a tag to inspire you all. My base layers as bits of newspaper adhered and I have built my layers from there.

Today we have another great challenge at the Crafts Dreamy Challenge Blog. It’s a Shabby Chic Moodboard.
We’ve worked with the colour palette and roses from the board and created a Bookmark. We’ve worked on a watercolour paper for our base. We first misted it with water and added splatters of Lindy’s Open Arms Amethyst, Whale Watch Blue and Chateau Rose. Once dry, we used a Tim Holtz Rose stencil and added white crackle texture paste. While the paste was wet, we sprinkled some Papericious Crystal Clear for shimmer. On a separate cardstock, we stamped flowers from the Altenew Vintage Roses Stamp set with Distress Inks- Weathered Wood, Stormy Sky, Tumbled Glass, Iced Spruce, Tattered Rose, Spun Sugar and Seedless Preserves. We fussy cut and layered them on our bookmark with foam tape. We completed it with a phrase from Tim Holtz Ideology Small Talk.
Hope we’ve inspired you and we look forward to your participation!

Today we’ve created a postcard as a wish to a teacher for Teacher’s Day. We’ve used the collage technique to inspire you with the Happy Little Stampers Challenge theme. We’ve incorporated the words school and play (school as our theme and play of colors) to inspire you with the challenge at Colorful Creations.
