Today we’re back to inspire you to play along with us at the Through The Craftroom Door Blog Anything Goes Challenge!

This week our Sponsor is- Ike’s Art offering a prize of $15 voucher

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname. I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties. I am a bit crazy or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha. I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !! Well, I get more sense out of me.! I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady” ☺
I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal. I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff

We’re back with a quick journal spread.

This was fun and easy to create. We played with minimal supplies- Lindy’s Sprays- Poinciana Red Flame, Incandescent Copper, Bayou Boogie GoldBratwurst Brown Magical Shaker and Embossing Powders-Bratwurst Brown and Poinsettia Red Green; Dream On Stamp Set by FInnabair, Messy Script and Bussble Background Stamps, a black uniball pen and a mini embellishment we earlier created using the Papericious Ethereal Pack. We have a tutorial for the mini-embellishment-

Lindy’s April Challenge

Everyday Treasures

Today we’re back with another mixed media style layout. Here’s a look at it:

We have used the 7 Dots Studio Nothern Lights Collection, stamps from the Paint Chips Collection; Finnabair’s Art Alchemy Paints, Mediums, Waxes, Glitter, Melange Pebbles, Art Stones, Kaisercraft Dies, Peek-a-boo Designs dies and Cherry Lynn Doily.

We were inspired by two challenges for this one:

7 Dots Studio April Challenge– We played with the colour palette and were inspired by the flowers, and walking down a path under the night sky.

Scraps n Pieces April Challenge-  A few of our favourite things- to walk under the enchanting, magical night sky and nature. We also used colours from the palette.

Love Actually

Today we’re on the Papericious Blog to inspire you with a mixed media layout using the new release Love Actually Paper pack and Mini Shakers.

We were inspired by two challenges for this:

More Than Words February Challenge- Forever and Heart– We used both in our layout- Forever on the badge as well as a tile and a mini shaker heart as a focal.

Cuts2 Luv February Challenge- We’ve used a heart on our badge, the technique of splatter and a few colours from the colour combo.
